Gildemeister MAX MÜLLER MDW 10 is a semi-automatic turning lathe with numerical control and automated tool change. It is designed for rough and finish working of external and internal surfaces on shafts and flanges components, as well as for thread cutting, drilling and hole boring, tapping and machining of various solids of rotation.
The machine features angled bed, saddle with tool holder, automated tool change manipulator, and tool magazine.
The bed guiding areas and slides are grinded and hardened. Protecting lubricant is applied along the full length of the lathe. Ball screw assembly and bearings have been replaced with the new ones. Telescopic protection has been installed along MAX MÜLLER MDW 10 can be equipped with Siemens SINUMERIK 840 D-SL or Fanuc control systems. The feed movement on Z axis and X axis is carried out by Siemens SINAMICS 120 servo-drives.
The machine has technical parameters of a new one after overhaul and modernization performed by System Engineering Company s.r.o. The lathe is completely equipped so machining can be started immediately after installation of tools.
